Our family here at Crystal Tones invites you to join us in sunny Arizona during our annual visit to the International Tucson Gem and Mineral Show. Since last year's show, we have introduced over a dozen new Alchemy™ bowls, and we have greatly expanded our Advanced Alchemy™ and Gallery Series™ lines. New for 2014! The Grand Temple Tent

Crystal Tones has expanded so much that we have outgrown our indoor space! We will now be located outdoors at our normal Days Inn Freeway location. This change gives us a huge advantage, since we can showcase many more of our Alchemy™ Crystal Singing Bowl, Advanced Alchemy™ and Gallery™ Series bowls in this location. Additionally, it has allowed us to offer events in the Grand Temple Tent for the first time! Look for us right behind the Lobby at 222 Freeway Road (I-10 at Exit 258). You can also still find us at our other main showroom - Riverpark Inn Rooms 166 & 167 350 South Freeway Crystal Tones will be in Tucson from Friday, January 31st to Sunday, Feb. 16th. Both our Showroom and Grand Temple Tent will be open 9 am - 7 pm daily.

Crystal Tones Celebrates Tokyo, Japan Crystal Temple

 

Crystal Tones is proud to celebrate one of our newest Crystal Temples, Crystalian Tokyo - recently opened in Tokyo, Japan. This beautiful and inspiring location is filled with light, and also with the latest and highest quality Alchemy™ Crystal Singing Bowls.

Opened by Alchemy™ Crystal Singing Bowl Master, Jun Makino, this is his second Crystal Temple in Japan, the first being Crystalian Atami in the beautiful hot spring resort town of Atami. At Crystalian Tokyo you can receive a Crystal Bowl Healing directly from Jun or from one of his talented and compassionate Bowl Consultants. They also offer Sound Healing Workshops and occasional seminars.

 Jun Makino will also release a new Alchemy™ Crystal Singing Bowl CD in October, REQUIEM - featuring many beautiful Alchemy™ bowls including the super-grade 19" Platinum bowl which is on the cover. The CD will be available from Crystal Tones' website when it is released.

Colorado officially named rhodochrosite as its state mineral in 2002. Large specimens have been found in the Sweet Home Mine near Alma, Colorado. This photo is of one of the largest rhodochrosite crystals ever discovered, named "The Alma Rose" - the main crystal is nearly 10cm across.

Sound Healer uses Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls™ for therapy on abused elephants

A Bozeman woman who practices a special sound therapy is taking on some unlikely clients halfway around the world.

Each Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowl" has their own unique musical note, but Linda Chambers said it's more than just pretty music.

These bowls can help heal pain, she said, through the sound and vibrations the bowls emit. Chambers said she works with the body's seven chakras, or points of energy. She'll play certain bowls to target specific parts of the body or different emotions. War veterans have even come to her to help work with their post-traumatic stress disorder, she said. Chambers said it's a way to bring the body, mind and spirit back into alignment.

"This is a really effective way of doing the releasing, and bringing things back in to a harmonic place," she said. And now, Chambers is taking her unique therapy to unlikely clients across the world. "They rescue elephants from horrendous situations" she said, about the Petara Elephant Farm. The government-sanctioned, family-owned elephant refuge in Thailand takes in abused elephants, and nurtures them back to health.

Linda visited last year, and said her connection with the gentle animals touched her heart. "They're really intelligent, and they have such an amazing presence," she said. So the owners of Petara asked her to bring her singing bowl therapy to the elephants.
